- Full title :Hankel and Toeplitz matrices and forms : algebraic theory / I. S. Iohvidov ; translated by G. Philip A. Thijsse.
Summary
This book is an introduction to the theory of finite Hankel and Toeplitz matrices. In general, this book addresses the algebraic aspects of the theory, and the problems of extensions, computations of ranks, signature, and inversion. Hankel and Toeplitz matrices have a long history and have given rise to important applications in numerical theory and systems theory, among others. The prerequisite for this book is standard course in linear algebra. This text can be used in classes for senior undergraduates and graduate students.
