According to the publisher's Web site, the publication of Book 1 in 2007 completed the Groningen commentaries on Apuleius, which, at the time, comprised Books 1-2 and 4-10. Book 3 was not published in the series. However, Book 11 was later published in Groningen commentaries on Apuleius, in 2015. A commentary on Book 3, with text and introduction edited by R.T. van der Paardt (one of the co-editors of volumes in this set), was published before the series began: Amsterdam : A. M. Hakkert, 1971.
