"The New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (the "Uniform Code") is formulated by the State Fire Prevention and Building Code Council (the "Code Council") pursuant to Article 18 of the New York State Executive Law. The text of the Uniform Code is found in Title 19 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations ("19 NYCRR"), Parts 1219 through 1228, and in the publications incorporated by reference in 19 NYCRR Parts 1219 through 1228.
