Summary
In February 2011, the Salesian priest Rimsky Rojas committed suicide, three days after the case of the disappearance of Ricardo Harex--a young man from Puntarenas who was last seen in October 2001--took an important turn. Among the many clues that were considered in the police investigation, the name of Rimsky Rojas--with several complaints to his name for abuse--was gaining strength until his becoming the main suspect in the disappearance of Harex. In this exciting journalistic investigation, Óscar Contardo takes as an exemplar the story of Rimsky Rojas, to illustrate in an assertive and fierce way the current crisis that the Chilean Catholic Church is going through and its perverse and systematic dynamics of abuse and cover-up.
