This work covers the maximal and prime ideals of the incidence algebra, derivations and isomorphisms, radicals and additional ring-theoretic properties. Combinatorial discussions include a study of the Mobius function, reduced incidence subalgebras, and the coalgebra approach to…
This unique, up-to-the-minute reference/text presents many properties of the incidence algebra of a locally finite partially ordered set X over a ring R - focusing specifically on the case when R is a commutative ring with identity and detailing various properties of the Mobius …
"The past decade has seen numerous major mathematical breakthroughs for topics such as the finite field Kakeya conjecture, the cap set conjecture, Erdös's distinct distances problem, the joints problem, as well as others, thanks to the introduction of new polynomial methods. The…

Combinatorics of Spreads and Parallelisms covers all known finite and infinite parallelisms as well as the planes comprising them. It also presents a complete analysis of general spreads and partitions of vector spaces that provide groups enabling the construction of subgeometry…
For at least forty years, translation planes, spreads, nets, and parallelisms have played a central role in finite geometry. Finite geometry is an important, wide-ranging research area in mathematics with strong connections to algebra and combinatorics. It also has relevant prac…
