Aimed toward researchers and graduate students familiar with elements of functional analysis, linear algebra, and general topology; this book contains a general study of modulars, modular spaces, and metric modular spaces. Modulars may be thought of as generalized velocity field…

"Exploring the interrelation between information theory and signal processing theory, the book contains a new algebraic approach to signal processing theory. Readers will learn this new approach to constructing the unified mathematical fundamentals of both information theory and…
This 4-th edition of the leading reference volume on distance metrics is characterized by updated and rewritten sections on some items suggested by experts and readers, as well a general streamlining of content and the addition of essential new topics. Though the structure remai…

La 4e de couverture indique :"Monoidal Topology describes an active research area that, after various past proposals on how to axiomatize "spaces" in terms of convergence, began to emerge at the beginning of the millennium. It combines Barr's relational presentation of topologic…
This memoir considers only the case of compact Menger-space-manifolds. With routine changes (open covers instead of epsilonics), the results are valid for non-compact Menger-space-manifolds. Also outlined are parts of proofs for the non-compact case that are substantially differ…
