oil wells

Flow assurance technology deals with the deposition of organic and inorganic solids in the oil flow path, which results in constriction of the production tubing and surface flow lines and drastically reduces the kinetic energy of the fluid. The major contributors to this flow re…

Acid fracturing is a well stimulation operation commonly applied in low permeable carbonate reservoirs. Tight carbonates with high storability are good candidates for acid fracturing. The success of an acid fracturing treatment depends on the fracture penetration distance and th…

Production and injection in long horizontal wells pose many challenges to operating companies right from drilling, production optimization, flow assurance to reservoir management. Horizontal wells are subject to ineffective well clean up, non-uniform stimulation and difficulties…

In the oil and gas industry, oil well cementing is considered as one of the most important stages among all of the drilling and well completions operations. Cement additives are typically used to modify the behavior of oil-well cement and to control its fluidity under the aggres…
